Non-accredited Ministry Training Programs

Some ministers find that non-accredited ministry training is the best option for them at this time in their ministry. A large variety of non-accredited programs operated in cooperation with BGCT seminaries and universities, and some are in other languages besides English. They are located all over the state and offer excellent training experiences in a disciplined environment. The BGCT can help you find the program that is closest to you and that best meets your needs. Contact us.

Accredited Ministry Training Program

Hundreds of groups offer training for ministers, but only a few provide accredited degree programs. Accreditation ensures you that the training received meets rigorous standards established by the academic community and that it will be recognized by other accredited institutions. Texas Baptists have nine institutions of higher education that have met these standards under a variety of recognized accrediting agencies. Training for ministers is offered at various levels depending on your academic background and goals in ministry preparation.

Various levels of assistance are available to students enrolled in accredited certificate, undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programs that have been endorsed by the convention. Application for all BGCT financial assistance is made directly through the financial aid office of affiliated BGCT universities and seminaries. Contact us.
