You are able to include your own church name and personalize everything, or you can use these items to create your own information. Special Friends Retreat
This retreat is for the mentally challenged 12 years of age or older, their parents and chaperones, and workers with the mentally challenged. See forms on the right for more information.
African American Youth and Children’s Camp
This contextualized camp experience is for African American youth from BGCT-affiliated churches and is provided to offer opportunities for spiritual discovery, faith development and fun. Contact us.
Bible Study
Bible study units are available for babies and ones; 2s and 3s; and 4s and 5s. The early childhood Bible study units are characterized by activity learning that encourages children through their activities to discover and learn truths for themselves. Bible study units are also available children in grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6. These Bible study units will help lay foundations for faith.
Children’s Weekday Ministries
The BGCT can help your church begin or grow a weekday education ministry with a complete Child Development Center or a once-a-week Mother’s Day Out. Other ministries might include “latch-key” or after-school ministries that give young children a safe place to play and learn while their caregivers are at work. We offer resources, support and training. We also can put you in contact with the Church Weekday Education Association ™ for valuable resources and a listing of training opportunities.
Mission Friends, Children in Action and Girls in Action
WMU of Texas supports three missions organizations for preschoolers and children through grade 6. Mission Friends is for preschoolers ages birth through pre-first. The primary objective is to provide a strong foundation in a Christian and missions lifestyle. Children in Action is a coed missions organization for children in grades 1-6. Girls in Action is for girls in grades 1-6.
Royal Ambassadors
Royal Ambassadors is a Bible-centered, church-related mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6. It involves boys and their leaders in the spiritual process of developing an "on-mission" lifestyle.
