Texas Baptist Ministers' Wives Fellowship is made up of ladies just like you who have chosen to partner with and provide support to their husband in ministry. The Fellowship exists to provide and promote fellowship, information, affirmation and inspiration for all wives of Texas Baptist ministers and widows of Texas Baptist ministers.

Letter from the Ministers' Wives Team

Dear Minister’s Wife,

Greetings from the BGCT Ministers’ Wives Fellowship! What a wonderful time we had at our annual Ministers’ Wives Retreat at the picturesque Riverbend Retreat Center in February. From the hoedowns to the inspiring words during worship, we were renewed and refreshed!

Please put our retreat dates for 2010 on your calendar RIGHT NOW! Note the change from February to April. We will be “Seeking Treasure” at Riverbend Retreat Center April 15 – 17, 2010. We, as ministers’ wives, find ourselves becoming overcommitted with the things in life between home, work, and church, losing sight of what the Lord desires for us. Come rediscover the joy and passion in seeking God’s treasure for our lives. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:21). Therefore, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30). We encourage you to come and invite other ministers’ wives. You will receive a blessing from a weekend away from the regular responsibilities, where we become renewed and refreshed in our relationships with each other and in our relationship with God. Join us as we search for treasure!

Special Guest Rhonda Rhea

Rhonda Rhea (pronounced RAY) is a pastor’s wife and mother of five. She lives near St. Louis, though she confesses she spends most of her time circling the county delivering teens hither and yon.

She is a radio personality and in addition to regular radio features, also appears on radio and TV programs throughout the country, as well as enjoying a recurring role on Focus on the Family’s “Weekend Magazine” radio program. In addition to speaking at special events, teaches at various writers’ conferences across the country. She is affiliated with many great organizations, including Christian Humor Writers, and is the Conference Chairperson for the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and a board member of Right to the Heart ministries.
