Great Day Texas

It allows a church to give a fresh expression of compassion for members and prospects who need Bible study, renew its spiritual vitality through visits with “people who need to know Jesus”, “stretch itself,” and get a new vision of what God can do through a church that cares about people, and provide an enriching, life-changing Bible study experience for spiritually needy persons. Church Weekday Education Conferences

Reach out into your church’s broader community with everyday programs that truly meet their needs: weekday education programs such as Parent’s Day Out, latchkey ministries and child development center programs. In collaboration with the Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Association™, we provide eight regional conferences each year, as well as an annual conference where over a thousand directors, teachers and other leaders of will gather at Baylor University in July to learn more and be inspired regarding these vital programs. These conferences will help you and your church leadership learn how to launch such ministries or improve them, while it exposes you to a network of people and ministries you can depend on throughout the year.

Each year the convention offers an average of 35 classes, many of which offer certification opportunities. The schedule provides such courses as training in library technology and software, methods of library science (cataloging, repair, publicity, etc.) and copyright, confidentiality and communication.
