What is an Annual Church Profile?

The purpose of the Annual Church Profile (ACP) is to enable your church to examine its progress of ministry and growth. As you cooperatively share statistics such as total membership, baptisms, etc., with associations and state conventions, we are better able to assist your congregation in all areas of church life.

It is important for every church to participate. Trends can be established and new ways to minister to churches can be researched. Thank you for taking the time to complete the Annual Church Profile! Your dedication to this task will help make a difference and provide a more accurate picture of Kingdom work!

Why complete an Annual Church Profile?

  • Gives the church a way to track its progress in several major program areas from year to year
     
  • Enables the church to have a voice in the direction of the Baptist General Convention by providing the information needed to qualify for messengers to the annual meeting
     
  • Provides the church a way to share what God is doing within your congregation
     
  • Helps identify areas of the state where evangelism and new churches are most needed
     
  • Helps track trends in Total Membership, Sunday School Attendance, Worship Attendance, giving, church growth, etc.
