Singing Women of Texas
There are currently 7 SWOT chapters sponsored by the Baptist General Convention of Texas spread across Texas. The women meet together once each month for an afternoon rehearsal and concert that night for a church in their area.
In addition, they are occasionally involved in music mission trips and sing for events either individually or combined with the other SWOT groups to share the message of Christ in venues such as the Baptist General Convention of Texas annual meetings, Baptist Church Music Conference session, and the Alleluia! Church Music Conference.
Their mission is to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and to provide opportunities for Christian growth, inspiration, fellowship, mission service, and to encourage musical excellence within the local church.
